Dutch at the workplace
This program is aimed at foreign employees with a college education who have been living in the Netherlands for several years. The purpose of the course it to expand and improve language skills, such as speaking, listening and correspondence.
Workplace material forms the basis for the program. Using the telephone, giving presentations, taking part in meetings, contacts with colleagues, and business discussions are all situations where correct language use is vital. You can use this program to focus on types and structures of discussions, as well as grammar at word and sentence level, pronunciation and rhythm.
E-mail, memos, notes, letters and minutes of meetings are all examples of written documents faced at work every day. Text types, structures and objectives lie at the heart of this course. Grammar, spelling and style are also covered. Workplace materials play an important part within the program.
